An experienced Fund Accountant is required by our client, an Essex based financial services organisation. You will be required to prepare Financial Statements, calculate distributions and prepare tax calculations. As a senior member of the team, you will also take responsibility for financial statement review, technical support and coaching of other staff.
The successful candidate will have previous fund accounting experience with sound knowledge of double entry principles and knowledge of the IMA SORP for unit trusts and OEICs. You must have the ability to work to tight deadlines with good PC skills, in particular Excel.
